Pepsico Has Pre Ordered 100 Tesla Semi Trucks

Shares of Tesla were heading higher on Tuesday after it was revealed that beverage giant Pepsico has pre-ordered 100 of the company’s semi trucks.

With the news, Tesla shares are already up over 7% for the week.

Jim Cramer on CNBC’s “Mad Dash” segment revealed that PepsiCo has pre-ordered 100 of Tesla’s electric semi trucks.

This isn’t the first big name to place pre orders for the electric vehicle giant’s semi trucks. Walmart and JB Hunt have already placed their own pre-orders.

There have already been 250 trucks pre ordered with a delivery date that is way off years into the future.

The fact that companies are ordering already looks promising. Cramer even considered the amount of trucks pre-ordered to be “impressive.”
