One of Amazon’s Most Popular Shows Has Less Than 1 Million Viewers

You would think that when it comes to television shows or movies, the more viewers you have means the more acclaimed the show is.

Amazon’s acclaimed show “Transparent” has less than 1 million viewers according to The Wall Street Journal.

The report published on Friday noted that an Amazon Studios executive remarked , “We’re getting chewed up,” after a dismal showing at this year’s Emmy Awards.

According to the Wall Street Journal article, Amazon has plans to shift away from “hipster” programming and focus more on content such as sci-fi and spy fiction.
