Nike Announces Four More Top Level Executives Have Departed
An investigation of Nike’s workplace behavior has resulted in the departure of 10 senior managers in total who have left the company over allegations of harassment and discrimination against female employees.
It was this week that Nike announced that four of them have either left the company or will depart soon.
The four people are Steve Lesnard, who is the head of running in North America, Simon Pestridge, who heads marketing for performance categories, Helen Kim, who oversees Eastern North America, and Tommy Kain, the director of sports marketing.
Mark Parker, the company’s chief executive, apologized to employees and said that departures related to Nike’s broad investigation into workplace behavior would be completed by this week.
The six other executives who have already left or said they are leaving included Trevor Edwards, the president of the Nike brand, Jayme Martin, an overseeer of Nike’s global businesses.
