Google’s (GOOG) Android 7.0 Nougat Is Here
The long awaited latest version of Google’s Android operating system is here. The Android 7.0 Nougat became available on Monday as an update for Google’s Nexus devices and it includes more than 250 improvements to the company’s OS.
Key new features include updates to the Quick Settings menu, multitasking, battery management improvements, new emojis, and the release of Google’s DayDream mobile virtual reality platform.
There is also a new Quick Settings menu where you swipe down only once on the notification shade, rather than two times, to get access to your quick settings like Wi-Fi, GPS and the flashlight.
