Ford Executive Leaves Company After Not Following Company Code of Conduct

Another one bites the dust, so it seems. Many leaders of companies have been stepping down in recent weeks due to allegations against them not following conduct.

Ford Motor announced on Wednesday that its own leader, Raj Nair, who is President for North America, would be stepping from his position.

The company said that an internal investigation had found that Nair’s behavior was “inconsistent with the company’s code of conduct.”

There were no details given on what behavior this was but a company spokesman had said that they received a report of inappropriate behavior.

“We made this decision after a thorough review and careful consideration,” remarked Ford Chief Executive Jim Hackett in a statement. “Ford is deeply committed to providing and nurturing a safe and respectful culture and we expect our leaders to fully uphold these values.”

Nair stated, “I sincerely regret that there have been instances where I have not exhibited leadership behaviors consistent with the principles that the Company and I have always espoused.”
