Many may be thinking that it’s about time Facebook’s leader speaks to lawmakers about the Cambridge Analytica scandal, and he will be.

It was confirmed on Tuesday that CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said he plans to testify before the United States Congress.

There are many questions from many Americans and the top one may be how on earth did the data of 50 million Facebook users end up with the political consultancy company Cambridge Analytica.

Shares of Facebook have dropped almost 18% since March 16th when the social networking giant first acknowledged that the data of some of its users had been improperly used by Cambridge Analytica.

House Energy and Commerce Committee spokeswoman Elena Hernandez has stated, “The committee is continuing to work with Facebook to determine a day and time for Mr. Zuckerberg to testify”.
