Facebook Is Not the Number 1 Best Place to Work Anymore
Facebook isn’t the hottest place to work at anymore.
According to Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work List for 2019, Facebook has dropped from its number one spot to number seven after a rough year of scandals and bad publicity.
Facebook’s employee satisfaction rating has steadily fallen over the course of the year, down from a 4.6 to 4.3.
Glassdoor’s list is based on the company’s ranking on eight factors, including work/life balance, senior
management and compensation and benefits.
According to Glassdoor community expert Scott Dobroski, on employee satisfaction, Facebook has falllen from a 4.6 rating in Q1 to a 4.3 in Q4.
“Facebook employees talked about the ‘move fast’ culture sometimes moving too fast,” Dobroski said in an interview with CNBC.
This is the first time Facebook has seen a decline in its award score since 2015.
“Its not a major surprise considering what’s been going on with Facebook. Employees want to be kept in the loop,” Dobroski said.
