Many have been keeping their eyes locked on news from Boeing over its 737 Max jet and the company’s software fix solution.

According to the FAA, which announced the news on Monday, Boeing’s 737 Max software fix is expected to be under FAA review over the coming weeks.

“Safety is our first priority, and we will take a thorough and methodical approach to the development and testing of the update to ensure we take the time to get it right,” Boeing said in a statement.

“Time is needed for additional work by Boeing as the result of an ongoing review of the 737 MAX Flight Control System to ensure that Boeing has identified and appropriately addressed all pertinent issues,” the FAA stated.

Boeing has been making headlines since its 737 Max Jets wre involved in two fatal airplane crashes since October.

The FAA will be conducting a “rigorous safety review.”

Boeing’s 737 Max Jets have now been grounded since mid-March.
