Apple Announces Press Event for December

On December 2nd, tech giant Apple will be holding a press event to talk about the company’s favorite apps and games of 2019.

To be held in New York City, Apple will be holding the event at 4 p.m. ET.

The event will be focused on “honoring our favorite apps and games of 2019.” A tagline on the invite reads “Loved by millions. Created by the best.”

Typically the company has held such an event each year but this time it may be more of an award ceremony than just a release. No new products are expected to be announced.

In other news, President Trump will be visiting Apple headquarters in Austin this week.

The President is set to tour the company’s facilities that make the Mac Pro with Chief Executive Tim Cook.
Brian Smith, a political analyst, remarked, “When things are hot in D.C. you get out of town.”

Trump and Cook are scheduled to tour Apple’s new manufacturing plant and highlight the company’s billion-dollar expansion coming to Williamson County.

Obviously, coming to Apple is a big deal. Apple is one of the largest manufacturers in the U.S.,” said Smith.
According to Smith, allowing Apple to continue manufacturing in Texas helps Trump’s on-going rhetoric of keeping jobs in America.

“This is a huge P.R. maneuver by the president, and political maneuver reminding the Republican base that he hasn’t forgotten about them,” Smith explained.
“This is the key, Trump winning in 2020 — if he loses Texas, he loses the presidency,” Smith said.
