Apple Could Announce a New iPod Touch This Week

It seems there could be a new iPod Touch announced this week that may do some very exciting things.

According to Appleinsider, there was a leaked iOS 11 developer code that revealed some new products over the weekend.
These products included a 4k Apple TV, the new iPhone X, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and a new iPod touch in development.

According to Appleinsider, this would be the first update to the iPod touch since 2015.

It was code-digger Benjamin Geskin who found the code that pointed to an “iPod 8.1” device. Geskin tweeted about his discovery.

According to Geskin there’s a line in the code that says users of the new iPod will be able to unlock it with their face.
We could be hearing more about it tomorrow at Apple’s news conference.
