A report this week has revealed that e-commerce giant Amazon has visited all 20 locations that are finalists in the running to become the company’s newest headquarters.

According to unidentified sources, NBC News has reported that Amazon is close to choosing the site of its new headquarters after visiting all of the locations.

There was no indication on whether or not the list had been narrowed down or if there was a lead contender.

Previously the Wall Street Journal had reported back in April that just 10 of the 20 locations had been visited.

The 20 finalists are: Toronto, Columbus, Indianapolis, Chicago, Denver, Nashville, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, Boston, New York City, Newark, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Montgomery County in Maryland, Washington D.C., Raleigh, Northern Virginia, Atlanta, Miami.
