Amazon CEO Says Amazon’s HQ2 Location Decision Will be Based on Intuition

Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos has said that the e-commerce giant’s decision on where its HQ2 location would be is going to be based on “intuition.”

Speaking in an interview on stage with journalist Walter Isaacson, the CEO said the decision of where to put the company’s second headquarters is one to make “with your heart.”

“Ultimately the decision will be made with intuition after gathering and studying a lot of data,” said Bezos. “[T]he best way to make it is you collect as much data as you can, you immerse yourself in that data, but then you make that decision with your heart.”

The decision is expected to be made by the end of the year according to Amazon executives.
