This is What Warren Buffet Advises When the Market is Down
Warren Buffet is a billionaire and a well known investor so often times people turn to him to see what he is doing in the market or what he advises.
The Oracle of Omaha has some sound advice for the market crash that’s been happening.
Though his advice is not recent, it still rings true today. It was back in 2016 that Buffet told CNBC that the buy-and-hold strategy is still the best strategy.
He explained, “Don’t watch the market closely. If they’re trying to buy and sell stocks, and worry when they go down a little bit … and think they should maybe sell them when they go up, they’re not going to have very good results.”
This was advice given to those who had been worried about their retirement stocks.
The CEO of Berkshire Hathaway even told CNBC that investors should “re-watch their favorite Super Bowl commercials, get ice cream with their kids and say hi to a friend they haven’t spoken with in a while.”
