Twitter Has Appointed a New CTO
Engineer Parag Agrawal has been appointed as Twitter’s new CTO. The company updated its website this week to show the new appointed executive.
Agrawal was appointed internally last October and is taking the place of Adam Messinger who left the company in late 2016.
Agrawal has been with the company since October of 2011, around the same time that co-founder and CEO Jack
Dorsey came back to the company.
Previously the executive had research internships at AT&T, Microsoft, as well as Yahoo.
A company spokesman told CNBC, “In his capacity as CTO, he’s focused on scaling a cohesive machine learning and AI approach across our consumer and revenue product and infrastructure teams.”
