Trendy Fashion Leader Forever 21 Has Just Filed A Major Lawsuit

When you look at many of the articles of clothing that Forever 21 sells, they look very similar to other brands. It’s no surprise that the company has been accused of ripping off major brands such as H&M.

This time, Forever 21 is the one accusing others of doing the ripping off. Forever 21 has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit concerning a popular pattern featured on its harem pants at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

According to documents published on Monday, the retailer claims that both C. Luce (parent company TCEC) and CornerStone Apparel, doing business as Papaya Clothing, copied one of their “original” designs.

Forever 21 holds copyright registration on the pattern featured on their $17.80 ikat printed harem pants.
