This Smartphone Is So Hot That Demand Is Going Crazy For It
According to data from Wave7 Research, Google Pixel smartphones are exceeding the carrier’s supply. The Pixel made up 9.5 percent of all smartphone sales at Big Red in the last month. Verizon owns exclusive rights to the Pixel and the Pixel XL.
The smartphone also accounted for 12.3 percent of smartphone sales at the carrier in the first few weeks of last month. This is something that both Google and Verizon did not expect.
9to5Google reported that several buyers said their orders still appear as either “Pre-ordered” or “Pending,” even though some estimated delivery dates were listed as early as this week.
Google released a statement announcing that the orders have “exceeded our expectations.”
“We’re thrilled to see the excitement for our new Pixel phones, and frankly pre-order demand has exceeded our expectations. We’re working to restock our inventory as soon as possible.
Google is working on increasing their supply so sit patient if you’re looking for one.
