This is Why The U.S. Launched Military Strikes in Syria

It was a concerning day on Friday around the world as people watched the U.S., France, and Britain, launch military strikes against the country of Syria.

The mission was to punish the country’s President Bashar Assad who had allegedly used a chemical attack against civilians and to make sure he doesn’t do it again.

Officials at the Pentagon said that the attacks targeted the president’s programs to develop and produce chemical weapons.

President Trump said, “The evil and the despicable attack left mothers and fathers, infants and children, thrashing in pain and gasping for air. These are not the actions of a man; they are crimes of a monster instead.”
