Target to Debut K-Beauty Brand Exclusively

Target announced this week that it will unveil a K-Beauty brand to grow its makeup offerings.

The collection is called Glow Studio. Target will be working with Glow Recipe, an e-commerce site and Korean beauty expert in its launch of the brand.

The Glow Studio brand will feature four-step routine kits and will hit stores and Target.com this Sunday, and will range in price from $5 to $38.

K-Beauty has become popular across the nation and has ingredients like green tea and chai tea that help cleanse and hydrate the skin.

Target explained in a blog post that as part of a Korean beauty regimen, the routines are focused on preventing rather than treating acne and wrinkles and other skin issues.

“K-Beauty is one of the fastest growing categories in premium skincare at Target,” said Mark Tritton, Target’s chief merchandising officer.

“This Target-exclusive collection allows our guests to effortlessly incorporate K-Beauty products into their beauty regimen, all for an incredible price,” Tritton further said. “It’s also another great example of how we’re partnering with digital brands who are experts in their field to curate a selection of compelling products conveniently for our guests at Target.”
