SoftBank Vision Fund Wants to Buy Many Companies

According to Softbank Vision Fund’s CEO, Rajeev Misra, the company is intended on buying 100 companies and then consolidating some.

Misra has said the $100 billion fund plans to be the largest shareholder in 100 technology companies across the globe and will actively seek mergers among its investments.

The Vision Fund, which is controlled by SoftBank, will invest in another 30 companies over the next two years, adding to the 30 it has already invested in over the last year or so, according to Misra.

Misra also said that the fund will actively push many of its investments to work along with each other and that the web of companies would be either controlled or influenced by SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son.

So far the fund has large investments in Nvidia, Uber, ARM Holdings, and WeWork.
