Salesforce (CRM) Makes Another Huge Purchase

Posted on

Salesforce has already spent $4 billion in this last year on acquisitions and the company is still not finished. The company just purchased HeyWire, a startup which makes it easy for companies to deliver messages through the 1-800 line.

HeyWire CEO Meredith Flynn-Ripley announced the deal in a blog post on Wednesday. The company’s software will be integrated with Salesforce’s Service Cloud business once the deal closes.

There have been no details on how much Salesforce spent on HeyWire, but the startup has raised a total of $13.3 million since it was founded in 2009.
