Nintendo Shares Explode After This Big Announcement

Shares of Nintendo climbed a lot higher on Wednesday after Apple’s product launch event. The big move came after two big announcements.

Firstly, Super Mario Bros. will come to iOS in a game called “Super Mario Run.” The app is expected to hit Apple’s App Store by the end of 2016.

Second, the game Pokémon GO will debut on the Apple Watch. Pokemon GO has been a huge success for the company, which has gained more than 74% this year due to attention from the game.

There have been around 500 million downloads of the Pokémon GO app since its launch. The game is set to debut on the Apple Watch before the end of the year.
