Microsoft (MSFT) Beats This Record For The First Time In 15 Years

Shares of Microsoft surged to an all-time high of over $60 in Thursday trading. This was the first time the computer tech company set an all-time high record since December of 1999.

Microsoft just recently released earnings that beat on top and bottom lines.

The company reported earnings of $0.76 on an adjusted basis while analysts were expecting $0.68 per share.

Revenue came in at $22.3 billion on an adjusted basis, while analysts had expected $21.71 billion. Revenue was 2.3% higher than the same period in 2015.
