Man Is Banned From Starbucks (SBUX) For Asking Out The Barista
A Washington man is accusing Starbucks of age discrimination according to KREM. The man was banned from a Spokane Starbucks after he asked out a barista who was in her teens.
He took to Facebook to accuse Starbuck’s management and said it was age discrimination. KREM quoted his December 22 post, “I was flirted with by a barista. For some reason she thought I was funny. Said I was funny. So I gave her a note to see if she’d be interested in dinner,” he wrote. “I know the female Starbucks barista was of legal age to date. I broke no laws. I merely took a chance with my heart. I’m tired of hearing the word ‘creep’ as any black person or gay person is tired of hearing certain words. I have a whole web page dedicated to age gap love.”
Apparently after he gave his note to the barista, the Spokane police showed up and an officer met him at the entrance the next day, telling him he was banned from the location.
A Starbucks spokesperson told Krem, “We have no tolerance for any such inappropriate behavior or harassment, and we will continue to support our store partners and local authorities investigating the situation.”
Just how old was this guy for all this to be going on??
