Hillary Clinton Had This To Say About Donald Trump Winning The Race
After a shocking win last night, Donald Trump is now America’s next President. Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton conceded and even called to congratulate him last night in a private phone call.
Today she addressed the nation, her staff, and her supporters.
She addressed the loss as “painful” but said that we owe the president-elect an “open mind.”
“I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans. This is not the outcome that we wanted or we worked so hard for and I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country. But I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign,” Clinton said to her supporters in New York City.
She did admit that “this is painful, and it will be for a long time.”
Trump won the votes in the swings states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
