Google’s (GOOG) Next Android Will Have This Name
Author By Sophia VidaPosted on Google has named each of its Android version after a sweet treat and its new update finally has a new name. The software will be called Android Nougat.
Referred to as Android N up until this point, this is the first name that was chosen by Android fans.
Android Nougat will arrive later this year and will bring a new split-screen view for phones and tablets, redesigned notifications, and better support for virtual reality among other new features.
In a Tweet, Android said, “Introducing #AndroidNougat. Thank you, world, for all your sweet name ideas! #AndroidNReveal.”
