First Lady Melania Trump Wears Controversial Jacket on Texas Trip

Visiting a shelter in Texas that houses migrant children who have been separated from their parents, the FLOTUS, Melania Trump, decided to wear a jacket that may not have been a fitting match to the occasion.

The president’s wife wore a jacket from Zara that had “I REALLY DON’T CARE. DO U?” written on the back of it.

According to the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, there was no hidden message behind the jacket.

Grisham tweeted, “Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly. If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids – rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket.”

Her husband, President Trump, also tweeted in her defense and said, “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” written on the back of Melania’s jacket, refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!”

Despite their defense over the jacket, it was an ill choice of wear to a shelter that homes children who are confused and desperate to be reunited with their parents.
