Facebook’s (FB) Mark Zuckerberg Does This For The First Time
The Forbes 400 was just released, and it had some interesting new faces in the top five. The list, which tracks the most wealthy people in America, just welcomed Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg into its top five, for the first time.
While most of us will never see this kind of money, the top 20 people on The 2016 Forbes 400 have a combined net worth of $813.5 billion. Microsoft founder Bill Gates still ranks as number one.
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is the second richest man in America right now and took the number two spot on the list. This is the first time in 15 years that Warren Buffett has been bumped out of the number two spot. Oracle’s Chairman Larry Ellison also fell out of the top 3 this year for the first time since 2007.
Bezos was the biggest gainer on the on the list for the second year in a row, adding $20 billion to his wealth. Amazon’s share price has soared 46%.
