Dropbox Just Raised $756 Million in its IPO
File sharing company Dropbox has raised a whopping $756 million in its U.S. initial public offering said a person familiar with the situation.
This prices the shares above the already increased range. Dropbox has sold 36 million shares for $21 a share according to the source. As the details are still private, the source remains unidentified.
Dropbox would be making its IPO at a market value of roughly $8.2 billion based on how many shares will be outstanding after the offering.
The company intends to be listed on the NASDAQ board under the ticker symbol DBX.
