Dallas Cowboys Bus Gets Into Fatal Crash
Although no players were on the Dallas Cowboys bus, it was staffers that were involved in a fatal collision with a van on Sunday on an Arizona highway. Authorities have confirmed that four people in the van have died.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Quentin Mehr, the bus occupants emerged uninjured from the crash.
The bus was on its way to a Dallas Cowboys fan event in Las Vegas. The collision took place on U.S. 93, which is around 30 miles north of Kingman, or 180 miles northeast of Phoenix. At least least one lane of the highway that serves as the main route between Las Vegas and Phoenix was shut down.
“All on the bus came through OK with some bumps and bruises,” Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple (DAHL’-rimp-ul) said in an email.
Though Dalrymple wouldn’t disclose how many were on the bus, it was only carrying members of the franchise’s staff.
