Chick-fil-A? There’s An App For That Now

It’s getting a lot easier for us to get chicken nuggets these days. Chick-fil-A has jumped on the app bandwagon and just announced the launch of pay-ahead mobile ordering via its new app Chick-fil-A One.

By using the app, guests (anyone age 13 or older) can customize orders, and skip any long lines by paying in advance of pickup. After the customer officially checks in at the pick up location, the food is then prepared. While you get to skip the waiting in line part, you still have to wait for your food to be made.

According to Chick-fil-A, the app is geared toward millennial parents– 82 percent of whom “would do almost anything to avoid long lines at fast food restaurants.”

“We know time is valuable, and we’re excited to offer this new convenience that will empower guests to order what they want, when they want it and exactly how they want it, all from their mobile device,” said Michael Lage, senior manager of digital experience for Chick-fil-A.

The Chick-fil-A One app also doubles as a rewards programs. After making a certain number of purchases through the app, customers who join will be “surprised with their favorite food, which is based on their preferences and previous orders.”

Now until June 11, Chick-fil-A is offering a free sandwich (per guest) for those who download the app. One signing up, you will receive a QR redemption code for a free original, spicy or grilled chicken sandwich.

You can dowload the app at the Apple App Store or Google Play, if you aren’t already doing it.
