Carl Icahn Thinks Donald Trump Will Help The Economy

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn said that Donald Trump winning the election was “a step in the right direction.”

He told CNBC’s “Fast Money Halftime Report, “”I’m certainly happy about it. I really think it’s a very important thing for our economy in general.”

Futures fell over 800 points as returns started to indicate that Trump could win. Icahn used the tumble as a chance to buy more stock.

“I’m glad I did that,” he said. “I guess that’s what makes me happy too.”
