Bill O’Reilly Had This To Say After Fox Let Him Go
Bill O’Reilly has been making some major headlines this past month. After years of sexual harassment claims surfaced after a New York Times investigation, and after nearly 100 companies began to pull their ads on his Fox show, the TV personality was fired.
O’Reilly had been with Fox Nws for two decades and his show “The O’Reilly Factor” is what rose him to fame. He has vowed that “the truth will come out” regarding the circumstances of why he was suddenly let go.
He said, “I was very surprised how it all turned out.” He says the truth has yet to be revealed.
“I don’t know that you’ll be surprised, but I think you’re going to be shaken, as I am. It’s a lot of stuff involved here.”
“I don’t want the media to take what I say and misconstrue it,” O’Reilly said. “You as a loyal O’Reilly listener have a right to know, I think, down the lane what exactly happened, and we are working in that direction.”
According to the New York Times report, O’Reilly and Fox News had paid $13 million to several women who had accused O’Reilly of sexual harassment over the years.
