Best Buy has apologized for this move, but it’s still a pretty awful misunderstanding during such a tragic time in Texas.

The retail company was selling packs of water at a Best Buy location in Houston for as much as $42 a pack.

The photos of the water quickly went viral and people were irate over the company charging this much in the wake of Hurrican Harvey.

Best Buy said it was a misunderstanding and apologized.

The Texas Attorney General has said that many items have had price gouging including gas and food. Some fuel was going for as much as $10 a gallon and even some cases of water for as high as $99.

“This was a big mistake on the part of a few employees at one store on Friday,” a Best Buy spokesperson told CNBC.
