Axl Rose Tells Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) To Remove His Fat Pictures

Posted on

Guns and Roses singer Axl Rose is asking Google to remove his pictures. Why? Because he was fat in them and now he isn’t. He is claiming that he is the legal copyright owner and a “Photography Permission” clause gives him ownership and also control over “the manner in which the photos can be exploited.”

The photos, taken by a photographer from the Winnipeg Free Press, were taken in 2010 when the musician was heavier than he was during his 90’s heyday. He’s also touring again and in much better shape today.

Axl is stepping up against fat shamers, being the victim of his own pictures turned into insulting and mean memes.
Google has not yet responded to the request.
