Anyone With A Yahoo (YHOO) Account Should Do This After Huge Data Breach

Yahoo just announced its second major data breach attack of this year. The company announced on Wednesday that it suffered a security breach in August of 2013, twice as big as the one it experienced in 2014.

Over 1 billion accounts were compromised, but the hackers were not able to acquire credit card information, bank account data, or unencrypted passwords. They may however had access to email addresses, telephone numbers, names, hashed passwords, dates of birth, and possibly security questions and answers.

If you have a Yahoo account, you should do the following to be safe:

1. Change your password.

2. Set up two-factor authentication. This will send a text message to your smartphone with a unique login code each time you log into your account.

3. Keep a close eye on your account.
