American Express is Getting Rid of This on Credit Card Purchases
American Express holders will have one less thing to do when making purchases with their card. They won’t have to sign anymore.
Starting in April of 2018, the company will no longer require signatures for credit card purchases.
The credit card company is following in the steps of Mastercard and Discover who have already made similar changes.
American Express however, unlike other companies, is making this change a global thing.
Jaromir Divilek, an executive VP at American Express, has said the changes are because its “fraud capabilities have advanced so that signatures are no longer necessary to fight fraud.”
