Amazon Added A Very Cool New Feature On Its Echo Device

Amazon just made a big announcement about a new feature that will come to its Echo device. It’s called Echo-to-Echo calling an will allow people to be hands free.

The online retail giant also announced Echo Show, which is a new speaker that has a screen allowing for video chats and will work for anyone who has an Echo device.

With the new voice calling feature, users can call or receive calls from other Alexa users and can also send and receive voice messages.

The fact that this is hands-free could really give Amazon an edge out there when it comes to convenience. Especially as its free too. You can be standing in the kitchen cooking away and only have to speak to Alexa to get connected to your mother or your brother.

According to Amazon, the update on the Echo will arrive today and will involve an app update and additional setup on Alexa.
