For $6,000 Your Family Could Visit a Galactic Starcruiser Hotel

It was back in 2019 at the Disney’s D23 Expo that a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience was first debuted.

The immersive hotel was situated near the company’s Orlando, Florida-based Disney World Resort.

It’s now on its way to becoming a reality for families to visit. Billed as a two-day, two-night adventure, the new experience is expected to open in spring 2022.

Disney revealed some sample pricing for future adventures this week and it can cost as much as $1,200 per person, per day. The packages include all meals and admission to the Hollywood Studios theme park.

Your voyage rates will be dependent on your itinerary and when you book the trip. It will also depend on how many guests will stay in the cabin.

Between the dates of Aug. 20, 2022, and Sept. 17, 2022, Disney has said a trip on the Chandrila Star Line known as the Halcyon will cost $4,809 for two guests sharing a cabin, or $1,209 per person, per night.

Three guests (two adults and one child) in the cabin would cost $889 per guest, per night or around $5,299 for the full trip.

Four guests per cabin (three adults, one child) would cost $5,999 or $749 per guest, per night.

Prices can change based on which cabin you select. There are standard rooms and suites.

Disney had wanted the hotel’s opening for 2021 but the pandemic called for a delay.

The luxury liner has many different locations for guests to explore including the bridge, where guests learn all about the ship’s navigation and defense systems.

Guests can travel to the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge park from the starcruiser during their stay and will have a voucher for a free quick-service meal at the park.
