Dropbox Has Secretly Filed to Go Public

According to Bloomberg, cloud company Dropbox has secretly filed to go public.

The company, which was last valued at $10 billion, has hired Goldman Sachs as well as J.P. Morgan to handle the offering.

Bloomberg cited one source familiar with the matter in its report and after the news. shares of Box, a similar company saw its share price increase over 3%.

According to Bloomberg, both Goldman and J.P. Morgan had been in the running for the offering as early as last July.

Founded in 2007, Dropbox has annualized sales of over $1 billion.
