Kohl’s Hired a Staggering Amount of People to Work the Holidays

Retailer Kohl’s is taking the holiday season very seriously. This is in fact the busiest shopping time of the year.

The department store chain has announced that it hired over 90,000 workers to work the holiday season. Kohl’s even admitted that it surpassed its holiday targets hiring this many workers.

The seasonal workers stand to gain several benefits which include advantages like an immediate 15 percent discount on their purchases and a larger, 35 percent discount from Dec. 13 to Dec. 16.

Kohl’s also said that it would have extended holiday hours for last minute shoppers. Starting on December 21st, the store will open at 7 a.m. and remain open for 24 hours all the way up until December 24th, at 6 p.m.

The company is also offering free in-store pick up on Christmas Eve for all online orders placed by 3 p.m. local time that day.
