Qualcomm Says Apple is Still Selling iPhones in China Despite Ban

It was earlier this week that a Chinese court granted Qualcomm an injunction against Apple, banning the sales of nearly all iPhones in China.
Qualcomm however said that Apple is still selling the iPhones despite the ban.

The Chinese court decision was the result of there being concerns on two Qualcomm patents. Apple fought back and had said that the ban only applies to phones running on an older operating system.

According to the iPhone maker, the ban only applies to devices that run on an older operating system. iPhones currently run on the iOS 12 version of software.

Apple said on Monday, “Qualcomm’s effort to ban our products is another desperate move by a company whose illegal practices are under investigation by regulators around the world.”
