JetBlue Founder David Neeleman Prepares to Launch a New Airline
David Neeleman, the founder of JetBlue, which he launched in 2000, is reportedly gearing up to launch a new low cost airline that could launch as early as 2020.
According to Airline Weekly. David Neeleman, has plans to launch a new airline called Moxy with $100 million in funding, including from Neeleman himself.
Bombardier CS300 aircrafts would be used for the new airline for low cost servie for smaller airports.
According to the article, which cited sources familiar with Neeleman’s venture, Moxy is set to connect major metropolitan areas using smaller, secondary airports.
Neeleman declined to comment on Airline Weekly’s article.
