Applebee’s Will Let You Pay With Giftcards And Coupons From Anywhere

Get ready to head to Applebee’s if you live in Texas.

The restaurant chain is now accepting gift cards from anywhere for the remainder of March at locations in Texas.

So do you have an old Macy’s giftcard laying in the drawer with $5 on it? Applebee’s will accept it.

Applebee’s is allowing gift cards and even expired coupons from anywhere, to pay up to 50% of your bill.

This means any paper, plastic, or printed coupon that you have no use for can be applied to your meals’ bill.

A $2 off coupon from the grocery store can even be applied to your bill to take $2 off!

There are some stipulations however. The offer just can’t be combined with any other Applebee’s offer and it can’t be applied to alcohol.

Applebee’s announced in a press release, that the idea for the promotion came after noticing customers had expired coupons and gift cards to places they’ve never visited before.

The company’s Chief operating officer of the Apple Texas franchise group Chris Dharod thinks the promotion will bring in customers who will eventually become regulars.

In a statement, he said, “We know that when our neighbors taste our food and relax in our atmosphere, they will become Applebee’s fans for life.”
