Jennifer Lopez Is Going To Be A Cocaine Lord

Jennifer Lopez may have landed her most intense movie role yet. The 47-year old singer/actress is about to play Griselda Blanco, the ‘Cocaine Godmother’ on HBO.

Blanco, who grew up in the slums of Colombia, was moving about 300 kilo of cocaine a month by the mid-1970s. This was about $80 million a month. The woman was also estimated to be responsible for about 200 murders.

It was in 2012 when she was shot to death in Medellín, right outside a butcher shop, by an assassin riding a motorcycle.

“I’ve been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years,” Lopez said in a statement.
