A rare one-of-a-kind Rolex, known as “The Unicorn” has sold for nearly $6 million.

The Rolex Daytona, sold at a Phillips auction over the weekend in Geneva for $5.9 million. It is the second most expensive Rolex to ever be sold at an auction.

Paul Newman’s Rolex Daytona sold last year for a cool $17.8 million. It was the most expensive wristwatch to ever sell in the world.

“The Unicorn” was the only vintage white gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ever produced and was sold by John Goldberger, a famous watch collector. He donated the proceeds to Children Action.

“We are thrilled with this historic result and philanthropic gesture, and delighted by the lasting benefits the sale of this watch will provide to so many children,” said Aurel Bacs, of Bacs & Russo, who held the auction in conjunction with Phillips.
