YouTube Star Kills Herself After Her Grandfather Passes Away

YouTube sensation and actress Stevie Ryan has committed suicide. The 33 year old became a well known YouTube sensation who did celebrity parodies.

According to the L.A. County Coroner’s Office, Ryan killed herself by hanging on July 1st.
Ryan was known for her series called Little Loca.

“I remember waking up and one Little Loca video had like 900 hits and I was like ‘Oh, my gosh. There’s people watching this?’ ” Ryan said to The Hollywood Reporter back in 2012. “And it just kept going and then I did this Paris Hilton thing and then it literally was just growing and growing. And I just became so obsessed with all of it.”

Ryan was so good that even VH1 gave her her own show called Stevie TV from 2012 to 2013. She also was the co-host of Brody Jenner’s E! series Sex with Brody.

She was very vocal about her depressed and co-hosted Mentally Ch(ill), which was a “podcast about depression.” She had said in an episode last week that she was concerned the death of her grandfather would send her into a deeper depression.
