According to records from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, golf legend Tiger Woods, 41, was arrested on Memorial Day Monday for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The golfing superstar who has won a major championship fourteen times, was booked into Palm Beach County jail on Monday around 7:18am in the morning after being arrested in Jupiter, Florida.

It was just around 3 AM that the golf pro was arrested at a traffic stop, according to Kristen Rightler who is a public information officer at the Jupiter Police Department.

He was released just under four hours later at 10:50 am according to documents. His mugshot was also obtained and shows Woods looking unshaven and very tired.

Woods just had spinal fusion surgery last month, his fourth in three years to treat his back. He wrote on his website this month that since the surgery he felt better than he has in years and was wanting to return to playing competitive golf.

Woods wrote, “My surgeon and physiotherapist say the operation was successful. It’s just a matter of not screwing up and letting it fuse. I’m walking and doing my exercises, and taking my kids to and from school. All I can do is take it day by day. There’s no hurry. But, I want to say unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again.”

Woods had been out of the 2015-2016 season.
