Playing Nickelback Music To Drunk Drivers Could Be Ultimate Punishment

Posted on

Canada’s Kensington Police Service in the Prince Edward Island province posted a message on Facebook last weekend that could have some Nickelback fans angry. Though how many are there really?

The department encouraged holiday drinkers to be responsible by jotting down the number to a cab company or planning to sleep at a friend’s house.

But for those who plan to drink and be stupid, the department has a great punishment.

Their post reads, “[W]hen we catch you, and we will catch you, on top of a hefty fine, a criminal charge and a years driving suspension we will also provide you with a bonus gift of playing the offices copy of Nickelback in the cruiser on the way to jail.”

“Now, now, no need to thank us, we figure if you are foolish enough to get behind the wheel after drinking then a little Chad Kroeger and the boys is the perfect gift for you.”

So yes boys and girls, do not drink and drive, and DEFINITELY do not drink and drive in Canada’s Prince Edward Island province.
