Reality television star Kim Kardashian West and her rapper husband Kanye West are proud parents again. The couple welcomed a new baby girl into the world via surrogate.
The announcement was made by Kim on Tuesday where she wrote on social media, “She’s here.” She wrote on her website that the baby was born on Monday, January 15th, at 12:47 a.m. and weighed in at 7 pounds and 6 ounces.
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she also wrote.
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister. Love, Kim Kardashian West.”
TMZ broke the news first after the surrogate gave birth.
One source told Yahoo, “Kim and Kanye are over the moon. They are so grateful to their surrogate and feel beyond blessed. It’s a very exciting time.”
The baby is now their third child and will be a sister to the couple’s son Saint and daughter North.
