Kanye West Knows Why Zuckerberg Didn’t Give Him $1 Billion

On the Ellen DeGeneres show last week, Kanye West admitted why he thinks Zuckerberg dismissed his request for $1 billion.

“I should have put it on Facebook. Now I understand why he didn’t hit me back,” West said.

It wasn’t too long ago that we all sat in awe at Kanye West when he reached out on Twitter asking Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion to invest in his “ideas.”

Naturally the megastar didn’t get a response.

“I understand that Zuckerberg doesn’t use Twitter even though I have had dinner with him and his wife and told him about how I wanted to help the world,” remarked West.

It was just this past February that we found out Kanye has $53 million in personal debt and went on Twitter tirades asking both Zuckerberg and Alphabet CEO Larry Page for money.

It’s not surprising that the GoFundMe page set up for the rapper only brought in about $7,000 but it was nice that West declined the money and gave it to Notes for Notes, a non-profit organization which builds, equips and staffs after-school recording studios.
